You can feel like yourself again.
Therapy for pregnancy and postpartum
Are you struggling to navigate this life transition?
Are you fighting feelings of being a “bad mom?”
Maybe you just feel lost and have no idea where to start.
How therapy works
You can work towards healing while learning how to be a mom.
You are not alone in how you are feeling. You are not wrong or bad for struggling. We’ll discuss any symptoms you are experiencing in your pregnancy or postpartum and address each one. We will discuss everything that comes along with transitioning into motherhood or adding more children to your family. This often includes boundaries in relationships, body image stressors, establishing true self care, education of perinatal mood disorders, and exploring how you want to show up as a mother.
Through my own personal experience and training through Postpartum Support International, I will provide education as we address your symptoms. You will have the chance to explore all these new dynamics that are arising in your relationships and in your own mind. You will learn daily and weekly habits to implement to help you start feeling like yourself again. This may take a different amount of time for each mom, but you will get there, and therapy can help the process along a little smoother.
